Edward McKendree Bounds (1835 – 1913)
Methodist Pastor, Itinerant
Evangelist, Attorney, Author of 8 classic books on prayer.
He served as Chaplin in the confederate States Army and was taken prisoner twice.

The spirit of devotion puts God into
all things.
